The installation is used to grip and subsequently empty a container into a waste containing vessel, following which the container is placed on to a conveyor band. A shaft turnable round a horizontal axis with a controllable drive and carrying tongues has a turnable rod seated on it which also moves round a horizontal axis and has a controllable drive. The tongue has a controllable operation and grips the container at its walls. Both arms of the tongue have an 'L' shaped profile.
