The installation is designed to transfer an empty drum from a receptacle to another axis parallel to it. The second axis may be mounted on a transport vehicle. The installation consists of two almost rectangular plates (7). The plates are rotatable round a common horizontal central axis by 360 degrees at the unloading point (5) and they are positioned parallel to it with large surfaces standing vertically which have run off limiting stops (8) at their four corners.
