Safety belt buckle tongue - incorporates roller joint mounted on axle, fitted on two pins forming part of tongue

The tongue for a safety belt buckle incorporates a roller (4) around which the belt runs and which is rotatably mounted in the tongue (1). The roller consists of two halves joined together, and is mounted on an axle. The axle is moulded round a solid arm which forms part of the tongue. The roller is mounted on two pins which are formed by protrusions on the punched out part of the tongue.
