<p>The bipolar or multipolar electrode has at least two spaced contact points (3,4) adjacent its end coupled to at least two mutually insulated conductors (5,6) surrounded by a common sleeve (7). Each of the conductors is formed as a multiple winding, the winding turns being coaxial and parallel to one another, each having the same outer dia. Pref. each conductor (5,6) comprises two separate wires (8) each of which has an insulating coating (9), the wires being wound together to form a closely packed compound winding of constant outer dia. The electrode has the min. possible dimensions, while allowing movement for correct positioning.</p> |
