<p>The machine applies glue or similar fluid, particularly glue with a limited setting tiIte. has a storage vessel into which an application roller, preferably driven, dips with its underside. When not in use, the roller (3) can be fully immersed in the fluid in the vessel (4). The internal volume of the vessel, or the quantity of fluid in it, is variable, typically so as to accommodate the roller when notin use, or erely to moisten it when working. The roller can be overhung from its bearings, and can have a hinged joint at its bearing end, allowing it to be swung down at right angles to its axis of rotation (D) into a vertical rest position.</p> |
