Energy recovery system for ship - uses turbine driven by water resistance against bow

The marine energy recovery system uses a propellor or turbine housed in a flow channel formed in the hull of a vessel and caused to rotate by the flow resistance of the water as the hull pushes through the water. The flow channel has a main intake projecting from the bow of the ship and two secondary intakes formed in the hull either side of it. The three intakes lead to a common flow channel containing a low pressure turbine, behind which the channel splits into two discharge ducts. The same system can be applied to a land or air vehicle by using the air resistance acting on the front of the vehicle to drive a turbine. The obtained energy can be used to power auxiliary systems.
