PURPOSE:To realize a debug means and a function for measuring the efficiency, etc., by providing a data switch for designating an address area of a disk medium, and a function switch for designating a function. CONSTITUTION:A CPU1 and a magnetic disk device 2 are connected with a bus, and this device 2 is constituted of a disk control part 3 and a disk medium 4. On this control part 3, data switches 7, 8 for designating an address of the medium 4 are provided, and the upper limit and the lower limit of the address area are set to the switches 7, 8, respectively. The respective data B, B' of these switches 7, 8 are compared with an address A inputted from the CPU1 by comparators 13, 14, respectively, and in case of A>=B and A>=B', a signal is outputted, their AND is taken by an AND gate 15, and the respective outputs are inputted to AND gates 16, 17 which make outputs of function switches 9, 10 their inputs, respectively. Subsequently, the function is designated by the switches 16, 17. |
