Braked asynchronous motor with auxiliary rotor stampings packets - formed by separate rectangular plates with intermediate non-magnetic alloy

The motor has a short-circuit rotor comprising a main stampings packet (5) and an auxiliary stampings packet (7) separated from it by a non-magnetic intermediate layer (6) and with separate radial sections. These comprise rectangular plates joined to one another and to the intermediate layer (6) via a non-magnetic alloy which fills the gaps between the plates. Pref. each of the latter is curved inwards at its outer end with the plates arranged in back to back pairs to define the gaps for containing the non-magnetic alloy. The intermediate layer (6) pref. has notches for locating the edges of the rectangular plates, the number of notches corresponding to the number of teeth of the main stampings packet.
