Spare wheel cover for bottom of boot - has moulded recesses to retain jack and service tools

The underside of the moulded boot floor (5) has tags (13) which grip onto the wheel rim of the spare wheel (4), while the top of the floor has moulded recesses outside the wheel shape to take the jack and other tools. The floor clips into place and is moulded from plastics or fibre compounds. The edges of the floor have tags to lock into slots at the edge of the boot space, while other tags (17) hold the floor in the raised position on the boot hinges. These tags are extended to serve as hand grips for raising the floor.
