PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of slapping sound even in large-size mixed gas inlet port by using a structure in which the lower end portion of a skirt in parallel with a piston pin is extended to a place close to a crank web at the bottom dead center of the piston in such a way as to keep it along the periphery of the crank web. CONSTITUTION:In the skirt 48 of a piston 36, the lower ends 52 of side in parallel with the piston pin 42 is extended to a place close to a crank web 34 in such a way as to keep it along the periphery of the crank web 34. Since larger sliding face can be taken on both sides in parallel with the piston pin 42, sufficient sliding face can be formed on both sides in parallel with the piston pin 42 in the skirt 48 even when larger opening 50 is formed in order to increase the output of engine. |
