PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of pitting by providing a spongy elastic part on an inner surface positioned in the water chamber of a cylinder block. CONSTITUTION:A small aperture is provided between a piston 8 and a cylinder wall 2. During the period when the piston 8 moves vertically, the piston 8 collides against a damper 11 side or 12, for example, whereupon a strong exciting force is acted to cause a vibration in the cylinder wall. However, the vibration is controlled in terms of its pressure variation by the cushioning action of the spongy dampers 11, 12, 13, and 14. Thus, the generation of pitting can be prevented. |
