PURPOSE:To prevent the noise of a rotary electric machine and to enhance the cooling effect of the machine by bonding a spacer member to a coil end to press the released end of a U-shaped insulator for enclosing a coil end linear part, thereby preventing the expansion of the released end of the insulator with a simple structure. CONSTITUTION:The expanded released end 7 of a U-shaped insulator 6 of a liner part 4 of a coil end 2 is boundled, and a spacer member 10 made of insulating material provided with a plurality of trapezoidal projections 9 at a flexible bent 8 is pressed on a part of the linear part 4 to suppress the expansion of the insulator 6 between the insulators 6 with the projections 9 from the opening side of the insulator 6. The member 10 is bonded integrally with the coil end 2 by the insulating varnish treatment after forming the coil end 2 and containing the coil therein. |
