PURPOSE:To increase the oscillation attenuating capability of the supporting arm of a magnetic head slider and to improve the stability, by constituting a support arm supporting the magentic head slider elastically with a spring material of ferromagnetic vibration-proof alloy. CONSTITUTION:To increase the vibration attenuating capability for a support arm 14 supporting a magnetic head slider 1, so-called gymbal spring, it is constituted with a single ferromanetic vibration-proof alloy without composite constitution to suppress the peak of resonance of the magnetic head slider 1 at various vibration modes and to eliminate various failures of a support arm which increases the capability through 9 composite type plate spring. |
