PURPOSE:To increase the quality of disc medium, by enabling to test the durability of disc medium in a short time with the state which is almost the same as a practical state, through the set of fastening torque arbitrarily for fastening screws. CONSTITUTION:When a disc 2 is turned in high speed, the surrounding air revolves together with the disc 2 to form an air film and to float a heat 9. As the acceleration of the disc 2 is greater, the disc 2 and the head 9 contact with each other and a medium 2a coated on the surface of the disc 2 is worn, the function of the disc 2 is lost finally and head clush state is caused. In this case, when the torque for fastening screw 4 fitting a retaining ring 3 to a disc holder 1 is increased, the ring 3 and the holder 1 are deformed to cause the vibration due to the deformation of the disc 2. Thus, stable vibration (acceleration) is obtained for the disc 2 by changing the fastening torque of the screw 4. |
