PURPOSE:To enable to obtain a better vibration-proofing and a soundproofing effect, by a method wherein a body tank bottom and a soundproofing tank bottom, corresponding to the body tank bottom, and structured in a concavity. CONSTITUTION:The main body of a transformer, in which a winding 2 is wound around a core, is housed in a body tank 4. The bottom of the tank 4 is structured in a concavity, and a main core is placed in the concave bottom of the tank 4. A soundproofing tank 5 is also structured in a concavity, and the concave bottom of the tank 4 is positioned in the concave bottom of the tank 5. A vibration-proofing material 8 is placed between an upper bottom plate 4a of the tank 4 and an upper bottom plate 5b of the tank 5, and a sound-absorbing material 7 is lined to an inner surface of a side plate 5b of the concave bottom of the tank 5. This permits a substantial reduction in a propagation of vibration to the tank 5 and enables to obtain an improved vibration proofing effect. |
