<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the motor load at tape end, by the constitution that the head base shift mechanism is operated with a delay than a tape run direction switching mechanism at switching of tape run direction. CONSTITUTION:A start lever 25 shifts a head base 2 loading a magnetic head 3 to a playing position surely, and to make sure the absorption between an armature 37 and an electromagnet 36, the amount of revolution of the start lever 25 is set slightly greater than that of the base 2, a start gear 19 and a reverse gear 39 start rotation with the operation of an interlocking lever 20, and a drive shaft 29 is portioned so that the drive shaft 29 implanted to the start gear 19 contacts a latch piece 30 of the start lever 25 when the gear 19 turns by almost 90 deg.. Thus, the start lever 25 is operated after the tape run direction is switched with the reverse gear 39 and the load of a motor 22 is shared, allowing to avoid overload.</p> |
