PURPOSE:To suppress a rotary force generated at a short secondary variable linear induction motor at its high accelerating time without increasing its cost by forming a hole at the secondary side conductor plate or forming an insulator at the top from the same position as the primary core upper edge of the secondary conductor plate. CONSTITUTION:The upper end 8 of a secondary side conductor plate 3 is inserted to the position of the upper edge C of the primary core 5, and an insulator having large electric resistance value for the connecting component to a carrier is used. Then, the carrier is pulled down by the maximum force downwardly, and the wheels can be prevented from being floated without increasing the weight of the carrier. Then, the insulator 9 is formed between the carrier and the plate 3, and the upper edge of the core 5 and the upper end of the plate 3 are disposed at the same position. In this case, the return part of the eddy current exists at the position of the insulator 9 to lower the efficiency. Accordingly, a hole or slit may be formed only at each of both ends which can increase the downward rotary moment. |
