A polyphenylene oxide composition is described comprising (a) polyphenylene oxide, (b) an alkenyl aromatic polymer modified with a diene rubber and (c) a copolymer produced by graft copolymerizing an alkenyl aromatic monomer onto an ethylene- alpha -olefin-polyene terpolymer in which the ratio by weight of the ethylene- alpha -olefin-polyene terpolymer part to the part of the polymer of alkenyl aromatic monomer is in the range of 1/20 to 20/1, the ratio by weight of the component (a) to component (b) being in the range of 1/10 to 10/1, and the amount of the component (c) being 1 to 100 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the sum of the component (a) and component (b). Said composition is excellent in heat resistance, weather resistance and impact resistance.
