Balancing device for a machining head moving horizontally along the whole length of a fixed cross-piece integral with a movable vertical pole of a machine tool and comprising a supporting means on which a movable counterpoise moves, characterized in that the cross-piece (4) and the supporting means (4, 14) are fixed on the same side of a vertical pole (3) said supporting means (4, 14) being fixed on the vertical pole (3) extending above and in parallel direction with the cross-piece, said counterpoise (7) and the machining head (5) being connected to drive means (9) synchronizing the movements of the counterpoise (7) and with those of the machining head (5) throughout length of the cross-piece.</p> |
