<p>The rotating swing, mainly for use in fairgrounds, can hold several people in a cabin (10). The cabin is supported by two arms (4,6) which are joined by axles (8,9) to other arms (5,7) which support a counterweight (11) which can be moved radially. The arms supporting the cabin are rotated by an hydraulic motor (18) which has a toothed pinion on its axle which engaged with a toothed wheel on the axle of one arm (9). An hydraulic jack moves the counterweight to compensate for the weight of the cabin.</p> |
