PURPOSE:To prevent data, which is not generated within a prescribed time, from being accumulated in the same storing means even if an operator gorgets to perform clearing operation, by accumulating sale data in one storing means, specified at every prescribd point in time, among storing means. CONSTITUTION:Storing means 81-84, a specifying means of specifying them successively at respective points in time, and an accumulating means of accumulating sale data inputted to one specified storage means. For example, a system shown in the figure and in a stand-by memory 7, switching time data for switching the specified total memories 81-84 is stored in a stand-by memory 7. When, for example, the memory 81 is specified and daily sale data are stored successively and unless an peator performs clearing operation at the switching time on the day, the memroy 82 is specified as a substitute for the memory 81, so that following input sale data are not stored in the memory 82. |
