PURPOSE:To read each picture by an independent photoelectric converting element, and to read a microscopic original satisfactorily, by placing a reflection member having two reflection surfaces making an angle to each other, between a lens for forming an image of picture information and an image formation picture, and dividing a picture projected to the reflection member through the lens. CONSTITUTION:A reflection member 13 having surfaces making an angle to each other is placed between a projection lens 9 for forming an image of picture information from a microfilm 6, and a position 11 of an image to be formed. Images 15, 15' reflected by each reflection surface 12, 12' of this reflection member 13 are made incident to different and independent CCD line sensors 14, 14'. Subsequently, a picture projected from the film 6 by the reflection member 13 is divided to the right and left with respect to the scanning direction, each picture divided in this way is read independently by the CCD line sensors 14, 14', and a picture of a microscopic original such as a microfilm, etc. is read satisfactorily. |
