PURPOSE:To reduce the space of a recovery device by leading a flowing developer out efficiently, by providing a means of engaging the recovery device, which has an attachable and detachable container made of a flexible material, with a developing device for changing the developer consisting of toner and a carrier. CONSTITUTION:For changing developers of an electronic copying machine, a developer 4 passed through the development position A of the developing roller 7 of the developer tank 5 of a developing device 2 is scraped off by a scraper 8 and led into a flexible container 20 through a passage 18 of a guide member 19 of a recovery device 3 along a guide plate 25 turned by the lever 27 of the device 3. The container 20 is made of polyethylene in a bag shape and attached to and detached from the grooves 21 of a guide member 19 with a clamp 22. The member 19 is fitted slidably between a guide groove 30 and a guide projection 31 provided to a ejection opening 28 of the developing device 2 by an engagement flange 23 and an engagement groove 24. During development, the opening 28 is closed with partitioning plate, but the partitioning plate is removed for recovery and the recovery device 3 is fitted. |
