<p>PURPOSE:To make print results easy to see on a printer which has the less number of print digits than that of display digits of a display device by printing data while changing lines for every plural contents of the number of display digits. CONSTITUTION:When a display device providing 24-digit display and a printer providing 16-digit print are used, the basic program language is used as an example and a statement PRINT is used as a print instruction. Contents X1 specified by the statement PRINT are stored in an X1 buffer. The format of the statement PRINT, printer connection and contents of the X1 are discriminated. When the X1 is numerals, whether its number of print digits is greater than 17 or not is discriminated. When it is less than 17, right justifying print is performed. When the X1 is characters, they are printed from the head. Then, specified contents X1, X2...Xn are printed in the order. Therefore, a carriage return is never done while the contents are being printed.</p> |
