发明名称 MEASURING METHOD FOR ION CONCENTRATION
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of an ion selective electrode, by a method wherein, in consideration of an elution compound from the ion selective electrode, a plurality of the ion selective electrodes are placed in a flow cell path. CONSTITUTION:For example, 5 types of measuring object ions are present in a liquid to be measured flowing in a flow cell path 1. Concentrations of the respective ions are measured by 5 ion selective electrodes A-E; and A, B, and C elute components which deteriorate B, D, and A, respectively. In case only E is not deteriorated by other electrodes, the electrodes D, B, A, C, and E are placed in order named above from the upstream side of the flow path. This arrangement permits the use of the ion selective electrodes for a long period of time without the deterioration by an elution component flowing from their respective upstreams. In a drawing, a potassium selective electrode 3, containing valinomycin, is placed at the upstream side, and a chloride ion selective electrode 4, containing methyltricaprylammoniumchloride is located at the downstream side to lengthen the using life of the ion selective electrode.
