PURPOSE:To obtain test samples that have excellent correspondence to actual products by a simplified metallic mold provided with a heating device for preheating the metallic mold, a controlling device for maintaining the temperature of the mold constant and a temperature variation device for setting the metallic mold at various temperatures. CONSTITUTION:A simplified metallic mold 1 is provided with an electric heater 4. The heater 4 is insulated in the mold and is connected to a control box 6. The temperature of the metallic mold is measured by a temperature sensing element 5 that is placed in the simplified metallic mold and positioned near the mold cavity 11. The temperature controlling device in the control box 6 maintains the temperature of the mold constant. After maintaining the temperature of the simplified metallic mold 1, molten metal 2 is poured into the cavity 11, and test pieces by metallic mold is taken from the cast metal. By this arrangement test samples can be taken at a set temperature and workability becomes excellent. |
