PURPOSE:To adjust a gap between a magnetic head and a driving roller by turning on a light emission diode by bringing the magnetic head into contact with an electrically conductive spacer having prescribed thickness by inserting the conductive spacer into the said gap along a guide plate. CONSTITUTION:A power source 12, a light emission diode 13, a resistor 14, and a magnetic head 4 are connected in series from the lower part of a guide plate 3 to form an electric circuit, and a filler gauge (conductive spacer) having prescribed thickness is inserted between the magnetic head 4 and a driving roller 1 from a gap between the lower part of a guide plate 3 and a filler gauge holder 15 fitted to the upper part of the other guide plate 3 through a buffer material 16, thereby bringing the filler gauge 17 into close contact with the driving roller 1 side. Then, the magnetic head 4 is lowered to meet the filler gauge 17, and consequently the electric circuit is closed to turn on the light emission diode 13. At this point in time, the lowering of the magnetic head 4 is stopped and the filler gauge 17 is removed to set the gap between the magnetic head 4 and driving roller 1 to desired gap size. |
