PURPOSE:To improve the plural pulse responding characteristics of a pulse motor by utilizing the static torque characteristics of the motor by aiming at the fact that a rotor does not step out but inrements to varied exciting phase when the variation in the exciting phase of the motor falls within the range of the maximum static torque. CONSTITUTION:When the rotor of a pulse motor 19 overruns to the final step position based on a transfer step data S, and hence when the rotating speed of the rotor becomes 0, the final four input pulse signals CP are outputted from a controller 11 in a very short period, and the exciting phase is immediately transferred to the final step position. In this manner, the rotor is stopped at the final step position, a CPU13 thereby maintains the rotor in the state, and waits for next new transfer step data S and rotating direction data D inputs. In this manner, the pulse motor 19 is smoothly started or stopped by the transfer step data S. |
