PURPOSE:To make construction simple and small in size by containing part of distance measuring optical paths, a reference light optical path, a light emitting element and a photodetector, and electric circuits in a housing rotating horizontally. CONSTITUTION:When a shutter 42b is opened and a shutter 42a is closed, the light emitted from a light emitting element 41 and transmitted through a half mirror 50 is shut off by the shutter 42a, and the light reflected by a mirror 50 passes through lenses 52, 53, is reflected by a mirror 51, and is made incident to a photodetector 38. The photodetector 38 outputs a reference signal. Next, when the shutter 42b is closed and the shutter 42a is opened, the light emitted from the element 41 and transmitted through the mirror 50 passes through lenses 30, 29 and a light guide 26, is reflected by a half mirror 35, and is irradiated to the target. The reflected light from the target is reflected by a half mirror 34, passes through a light guide 25, lenses 27, 28, transmits through a half mirror 51 and is made incident to the photodetector 38. |
