摘要 <p>The low loss (0.1dB) gigahertz circulator of the triplate type has a centre conductive plate (10) formed with a communicating rectilinear channel (25) which branches at each end at respective disc-shaped zones (26,27) into an input and an output rectilinear channel (21,22,23,24) at 120 degs. to one another and to the communicating channel. The central plate is sandwiched between two silicon plates (32) having disc inserts of gyromagnetic material such as iron-yttrium above and below the zones. The two silicon plates, in turn, are bounded by outer earth plates. Max. coupling is regulated by a rectangular dielectric plate (41) inserted between the two silicon plates perpendicular to the communicating channel at its mid point. The channel has a length of a halt wavelength.</p>
