PURPOSE:To provide a water ink compsn. which is suitable for ball point pens and whose color disappears easily and completely by a low-concentration aq. soln. of a chlorine-based bleaching agent, containing a basic dye selected from a methine dye, a polymethine dye and a cyanine dye as a dye component. CONSTITUTION:0.1-8wt% (based on the total amount of an ink compsn.) at least one basic dye selected from a methine dye such as C.I. Basic Yellow 11, C.I. Basic Red 12 or C.I. Basic Blue 62, a polymethine dye and a cyanine dye such as C.I. Basic Red 14, is used. Said basic dye and, if necessary, a dye- dissolving aid, a moisture-absorbing agent, a viscosity modifier, an antiseptic agent, a perfume, etc. are blended to produce the desired water ink compsn. An aq. soln. of potassium hypochlorite, etc. is used as a liquid eraser for erasing said ink. The ink can easily be erased even at a 1% or lower concn. of active chlorine. |
