PURPOSE:To wind a yarn into a pirn with enlarged winding pitch, by providing clutches between a driving system of a drafting device and a driving system of a lifting device and increasing the rotational speed of the lifting device- driving system behind the clutches after the stop of the operation of the spinning frame. CONSTITUTION:Clutches 30, 31 are provided in a gear train present at a junction between a drafting device-driving system (before a gear train g) and a lifting device-driving system (after a gear train h) and the gear ratio of the gear trains 32, 33 is made larger than that of the gear trains 10', 10. When the operation of a frame is stopped, the clutches 30, 31 becomes the states of 'ON' and 'OFF', respectively, and the lifting device-driving system is driven faster than the state of normal spinning operation. The generation of sloughing phenomenon in the unwinding of yarn can be drastically reduced by the use of the apparatus. |
