<p>A conveying or transporting star (revolving holder) for bottles or other containers has seatings around its circumference lined with soft elastic material, one seating for each bottle; the bottles are held in the seating by closure projections. The lining or wall components of soft elastic material together with the gripping projections can be deformed in a controlled manner by actuating elements so that the seatings are opened or closed as desired. Pref. material for the linings and projections is polyurethane integral foam. This appts. is economical to mfr., securely holds the bottles, results in low wear and low noise prodn.</p> |
