PURPOSE:To obtain an optical scanner capable of straight scanning, and also of manufacturing easily at low cost by using two holograms placed on a concentric circle, and varying the angle of incidence of an optical beam which is made incident to the second hologram. CONSTITUTION:On a rotary hologram 1, 2 kinds of holograms 1A, 1B are installed to a concentric circle, and optical path converting mirrors 6, 7 are placed. In this constitution, an optical beam of a light source 4 is made incident to the hologram 1A through a lens 5, is deflected to an arrow (y), following its rotation, is made incident to the second hologram 1B through the mirrors 6, 7, and forms an image on a plane of projection 3. In this case, the angle of incidence of the optical beam to the second hologram 1B is varied by a rotation of the first hologram 1A, and its reproduced image is also varied by a function of a hologram and is scanned straight on the place of projection 3. In this way, a device capable of scanning straight, and also of manufacturing easily at low cost is obtained. |
