An oscillating watering device for gardening has a hose which is held by a frame, is provided with spray nozzles and can be connected to a mains water supply. The watering device comprises a motor-driven device for controlling the oscillation width of the hose, a crank being provided for the transmission of movement from the motor to the hose and being connected via an elastic connecting rod to a movable part which holds the hose. The movable part is provided with a plurality of bores which determine different oscillation widths of the hose in that the elastic connecting rod is introduced, depending on the case, into these bores by means of a pin provided on it.
