This container is kept under surveillance even when it has been deposited, can be put down in the released condition and cannot be sabotaged. It has a loop for actuation of the device (2), in which there are arranged a two-part wrist strap (8, 9), which can be worn by the person carrying the valuables-transporting container, a buckle switch (6) and two resistors. The two parts of the wrist strap can be electrically and mechanically connected by means of press buttons (10, 11), and the resistors are connected in parallel when the two parts of the wrist strap are closed together. The valuables-transporting container can be used as a safe, the main switch (5) and the buckle switch (6) being on and closed and the wrist strap (8, 9) being fastened to a fixed object and closed together in such a way that the container cannot be removed unless the wrist strap is opened. <IMAGE>
