The device allows to grip the empty or yarn-covered bushes by means of pegs (13) placed on a bracket (11) arranged along the twisting or spinning machine, the pegs being intended to be threaded in the bushes (18) The bushes (18) are retained by the pegs (13) by compression of one into the other and the pressure effect is obtained in general with compressed air. According to the invention, for each peg (13) there is provided an extension (17) of elastic material, which extends forwardly of the front end of the peg. This arrangement has the advantage that if the bushes (18) are not properly arranged, the impact of the portion forward of the peg with the upper edge of the bush is avoided, and consequently the damage which would result therefrom, for example the destruction of the brackets or loss of compressed air. |
