PURPOSE:To ensure the excellent operability in terms of the human engineering and to realize a quick and accurate control, by varying the step frequency given from a control part in accordance with the operating speed of a control knob. CONSTITUTION:A rotary encoder 1 produces the pulses in accordance with the turning speed of the channel selecting knob of a radio receiver. A counter 2 counts these pulses for a certain period of time to transmit the count data as well as to initialize the data and then starts again the repetitive counting of pulses. While a control part 3 reads the count data given from the encoder 1 and delivers the step control signal in accordance with the read data. Then the part 3 performs the data processing after reading the count data given from the conter 2. In such way, the step rate caused by the step control signal can be varied in accordance with the turning speed of a control knob. |
