<p>With the centrifuge provided with a perforated drum (1) and with a discharged bottom (5), there is obtained in a simple way and with reduced cost, a reduced residual humidity of the solid material with an increased flow rate and a high acceleration. To this effect, the bottom (5) rotating about an axis (25) inclined with respect to the axis of the drum is also arranged skewed with respect to the axis (2) of the drum (1). The flow rate is controlled by changing said inclination angle. The inclined bottom (5) may rotate synchronously with the drum (1) or may be mounted so as to rotate with respect to the latter, and the difference between the number of revolutions also influences the flow rate.</p> |
