<p>4-substituted-2-oxoazetidine derivatives represented by the following general formula (I): $(6,)$ (wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group optionally having a hydroxy group, a phthalimido group or a halogen atom, R2 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkylthio group or an arylthio group, and R?3 and R4¿ are the same or different and each represents an acyl group or a cyano group), and a process represented by the following scheme: $(8,)$ (wherein R5 represents a protective group for carboxyl group, and R?1, R2, R3 and R4¿ are as defined above). Compounds (I) are intermediates for carba-2-penem compounds having excellent antibacterial and β-lactamase-inhibiting action.</p> |
