Boiler flue gases heat recovery equipment - comprises pipe in path of gas cooled by heated water

The equipment recovers part of the heat from the flue gases leaving a boiler for the chimney. Between the boiler (H) and the chimney (K) and in the path of the flue gases (3) is a length of pipe (2) cooled by part of the water to be heated. The pipe can be a coil connected to a further pipe, while the water flows through it in the opposite direction to the gas flow. Valves can be provided to connect the heated water either to the output from the boiler or the boiler line return. The equipment can be used for a central heating system, or to provide washing water.
