PURPOSE:To close and open a circuit very easily and to prevent a human body from danger caused by a laser beam, by providing a switch for operating and stopping a semiconductor laser device simultaneously with the insertion and drawing out of an optical link plug. CONSTITUTION:An optical link jack 6 is constituted of a semiconductor laser device 2, the first and second photoconductive paths 62, and 66, etc., and to a hollowed part 64, a switch 65 of an electric power supplying path 21 is installed. In this constitution, when an optical link flag 7 is inserted, the switch 65 is depressed by a depressing member 75, the laser device 2 is operated, a laser beam is outputted to other optical circuit through the first photoconductive path 62, a photoconductive path 72 of the plug 7 and the second photoconductive path 66. When the plug 7 is drawn out, the operation of the laser device 2 is stopped. In this way, the circuit is closed and opened easily, and danger to the human body, which is caused by a laser beam is prevented in case when removing the plug 7 for test and adjust, etc. |
