A connector tape (10) for carrying signals to exercise and thereby burn-in a plurality of semiconductor chips comprises a nonconductive backing strip (104) with noncrossing power conductors (106, 108) and signal conductors (110-140) bonded thereto. A plurality of sets of contact pads (110a-140a) are also bonded to the backing strip (104) for engagement with test pads on a device tape (12) to which the chips are connected. Sprocket holes (142) are provided for advancement and alignment.
