PURPOSE:To assure positive installation with adhesive and facilitate easy attachment/detachment of braid used to upholstery and cars, etc. by attaching the braid to a braid base by means of a pair of surface fasteners. CONSTITUTION:The braid 1 is made of vinyl-chloride resin formed into a substantial length by extrusion molding process and with required configuration, coloring and pattern provided on its surface. One of the pair of surface fasteners 3a is applied to the back side of the braid with a layer of adhesive 4 inserted between them. A braid base 2 is also made of vinyl-chloride resin with other side of the surface fastener 3b applied on its upper surface by means of a layer of adhesive 5, and one face of double-sided adhesive tape stuck to its lower face. By simply pressing the braid 1 from above, the surface fasterners are easily connected together and the braid is installed to the surface to be decorated 8. |
