PURPOSE:To rapidly execute a retrieving processing by sequentially retrieving the image data of a receiving data storing means corresponding to the retrieving code of a retrieving code storing means according to the instruction of a retrieving instructing means. CONSTITUTION:When the plural retrieving codes are inputted by the retrieving code input means, they are stored in a first storing means 23, the retrieving codes are sequentially outputted to retrieve and transmit the corresponding image data from an image data file 10 and the image data of all the retrieving codes is stored in a second storing means 26. Then, based on the instruction of the retrieving instructing means 32, the image data corresponding to the retrieving codes stored in the first storing means 23 is sequentially retrieved from the second storing means 26 by a retrieving means 27 and displayed on an output means 34. In such a way, for every instruction of the retrieving instructing means 32, the retrieving code is transmitted to an image data register 1 and retrieved from the second storing means 26 without retrieving from an image data file 14, so that a transmitting time can be shortened and a reference processing efficiency can be improved. |
