A locking rod (4) is mounted slideably in a groove (5) of the wing frame (6) of a window or door and is equipped with at least one locking piece (1) made of plastic. This locking piece has a tenon (2) and a foot (3) which is received by the locking rod (4) of U-shape cross-section. The tenon (2) passes through a clearance (7) in the locking rod and is equipped with clamping ribs (8) in the region of this clearance. When the tenon (2) is inserted into the clearance (7) of the locking rod, these clamping ribs are supported on the clearance walls and fix the tenon non-positively in the clearance. The foot (3) of the locking piece is equipped with two resilient bridge webs (10) supported on the bottom (9) of the groove (5). The production costs of securing the mounting of the locking piece relative to the locking rod are kept low. <IMAGE> |
