PURPOSE:To elevate the reliability with the identification of over-heating conditions by diagnosing the overheating based on individual output of stator temperature sensor and a gas temperature sensor jointly arranged in addition to a fine particle concentration detector. CONSTITUTION:When the concentration output of a fine particle concentration detector 17 exceeds a specified value, with a sequence change over between a gas extraction tube 7 on the turbine side (TS) and a gas extraction tube 8 on the collector side (CS), the concentration of fine particles is detected again to determine the rough position where the overheating occurs. To monitor the temperature of a cooling gas, search coils 18 and 19 are arranged on the suction side of a gas coolers 5 and 6 on TS and CS. To monitor the temperature of the iron core in a stator 2, thermocouples 20 and 21 are provided at the TS and CS slot sections. The outputs of the fine particle concentration detector 17, the search coils and 18 and 19 and the output of the thermocouples 20 and 21 are inputted into a diagnosing device 22 for a data processing. The fine particle concentration detector 17 is combined with other sensors in the recognition of the output pattern to overcome its possibility of malfunctioning and disdetection. |
