The invention relates to a guide system for a so-called telescopic grandstand. This comprises a plurality of grandstand steps 1, which are each supported by a pair of travelling carriages 2 disposed on the respective ends of the step 1. The travelling carriages 2 on the respective grandstand end are mutually connected by means of the guide system 3 for parallel guidance of the grandstand steps 1 when these are pulled out and pushed together. The invention is characterized in that the guide system 3 for two mutually adjacent travelling carriages 2a, 2b comprises: a guide rod, 4, 5 fixed on the respective travelling carriage 2a, 2b, a link member 6, which is disposed on one end of the guide rod 4 of one travelling carriage 2a and is secured against axial movement along the said rod 4 and is slidably mounted on the guide rod 5 of the other travelling carriage 2b, and a link member 7, which is disposed on the opposite end of the last-named guide rod 5 and is secured against axial movement along the said rod 5 and is slidably mounted on the first-named guide rod 4. <IMAGE> |
