PURPOSE:To prepare the titled ink having excellent adhesivity, dryability and water resistance, and suitable for printing to the surface of food or food packaging material, by compounding a solvent composed mainly of dioxane, alcohol and water, with a dye, an ionizable salt, and a binder. CONSTITUTION:(A) A solvent containing 20-60(wt)% dioxane, 15-70% alcohol (methyl alcohol or ethyl alcohol) and 5-15% water is mixed with (B) an ionizable salt (pref. lithium chloride or lithium nitrate), (C) an edible shellac resin as a binder and (D) a dye[pref. xanthene food dye (e.g. erythrosine, etc.)]. The amounts of the components (B) and (C) are pref. 0.7-1.5% and 3-8% of the component (A), respectively, and that of the component (D) is pref. 5-20% of the component (C). |
