PURPOSE:To detect a fault of a computer in a high speed to switch the computer and detect surely a loop for all programs to switch the computer, by providing a time monitor timer for every program. CONSTITUTION:The conventional device is provided with program loop detecting devices 22 and 23 additionally. In this device 22, time monitor timers 25- 33 are provided for an operating system 13 in a computer 1, programs 14-17 of level 1, programs 18-20 of level 2, and a program 21 of level 3 respectively. Monitor times proper to corresponding programs are set to timers 25-33 preliminarily, and each timer detects that the program end is not reported over the set time, and this information is reported to a stop control part 24 for the computer of its own system. When receiving this information, the control part 24 stops a computer 1 of its own system to switch the computer. |
